The ProjectKitchen in cooperation with Mz*Baltazar’s Lab (Vienna’s feminist creative space for hackers and others) offers a series of workshops at the UAS Technikum Wien.
Six workshops are planned in the ProjectKitchen lab, where artists and lecturers from Mz* Baltazar’s Lab will work together with the participants on electronics, sounds and other media. The workshops will deal with technical basics as well as a creative and artistic examination of the implications of technology.
Dr. Stefanie Wuschitz will present the planned cooperation with a lecture on the work of Mz* Baltazar’s Lab, the own definition of the term’ feminist hacking’, the worldwide phenomenon of feminist hacker spaces and the planned collaboration of the ProjectKitchen and Mz* Baltazar’s Lab (approx. 40 min) on January 18th at 3 pm (German language).
Afterwards the first workshop “Building a megaphone” will take place in the ProjectKitchen (room B_4.04,4 pm). Please note that this workshop and the one on the 8th of March are exclusively held for women, girls, trans and non-binary people.
